Located on the shores of the Mediterranean, upon the slopes of the Taurus Mountains the city of Alanya is one of the largest and most popular holiday resorts in Turkey. With a population of 110,000 and with access to two international airports, Alanya has everything you can want. A solid infastructure in Alanya caters to all nationalities and ages with childrens parks, sandy beaches, sports clubs, aquaparks, markets and bazaars and a vast array of shops and restaurants. Virtually all shops accept credit cards and a variety of currencies.

There are 60 kms of sandy beaches in alanya stretching both east and west from the Alanya peninsula. The climate allows for a long season from March right through to November. Every conceivable water activity is on offer here and you can take boat tours along the coast and visit caves along the way.
Alanya’s average temperature is 28 degrees centigrade and the sea water is a mild 26 degrees.

Real Estate in Alanya

Alanya has grown rapidly over the last 15 years and over 12,000 foreigners have purchased property in Alanya and its surrounding areas. Apartments in Alanya are the common property type with a huge number of new developments with a vast array of facilities. Buyers have great choice in Alanya for beach front resorts, all inclusive family villages and private villa complexes. Prices have steadily increased over the last few years and now start from approximately 50,000 Euros for a 1 bedroom and apartment and 70,000 Euros for a new 2 bedroom apartment in Alanya. You should expect to pay considerably more for an apartment with a sea view or close to the beach.

There are also new villa developments in Alanya situated on the moutains above the town and prices start from approximately 200,000 Euros for a 3 bedroom villa with a communal pool and again increase considerably more with private pools and sea views. With a long holiday season, Alanya’s rental market is growing and has good growth potential with the ever increasing tourism numbers. Marketing a rental property is essential to achieve decent returns and 2 bedroom furnished apartments typically rent from 150-250 Euros a week.
