Soundwave festival in Croatia returns for 2011

What has rapidly become known as one of the most memorable festivals on the international scene, the Soundwave festival has proven to be a major success in Croatia. With a line-up last year that incuded The Cinematic Orchestra, Gentlemans Dub Club and a whole heap of others this is not only the perfect summer festival but also a holiday of a life time. Soundwave 2011 promises to be even more memorable with great music in the glorious sunshine next to a clear blue sea, spread over 3 days, 3 arenas and a boat. This years line up includes the mighty Roots Manuva, blissed out beats from Zero 7 DJs, the lush soundscapes of Bonobo with full live band and the Swedish pop group Little Dragon as well as over 50 other amazing acts providing you with all the sunshine music you will ever need to soundtrack the holiday of a lifetime

The Garden, Petrcane is the stunning festival site which is set in the in a beautiful region of Croatia close to Zadar. Petrcane is a fishing village on a peninsular where the Dalmation Coast meets the Adriatic Sea. It has an outside Amphitheatre for live acts, a Beach Side Terrace for day & night time dancing and a 600 capacity nightclub for the beats to go on right through the night.

While listening to blissed out beats you can can swim in the glistening Adriatic, dance on the beach under the stars, head off on a Boat Party, or relax beneath the pines along the forested coastline.

The surrounding area is equally beautiful and there is loads to do such as island hopping, exploring the national parks and nearby mountains, enjoying the culinary delights of the local farming and fishing villages, relaxing on any of the various beaches.
