Confidence of Italian construction enterprises down in December

According to Istat ( The National Institute for Statistics of Italy), the seasonally adjusted confidence indicator in construction  in Italy fell from 87.2 to 80.1 in December 2011.

The survey represented by Istat  shows that the assessments on orders and/or construction projects improved in November, and then drastically dropped in December. The confidence index in construction has grown from 69.2 in October to 83.2 in November, whereas in December it sank to 71.0.
